Mehrdad Saberi
Founder

Mehrdad is responsible for carrott’s direction, growth and company plan execution.   Prior to Carrott, he founded the Electronic Data Storage, and Software Source Code Escrow divisions for FileSafe Corporation (A former Pacific Union subsidiary now called Iron Mountain). 

Mehrdad’s past management tenures, with two of America’s largest Offsite Information Management operators, include general management responsibilities for the DoD approved remote operation formerly known as Western States Atomic Vaults, Inc..  There he planned and completed the infrastructure expansion and upgrade for one of west coast’s most critical DR data protection facilities, and later expanded its client base to include major defense contractors, government agencies as well as some of America’s most recognized business brands.

Mehrdad majored in Computer Science at San Jose State University, and served as a board member for the California Internet Service Providers Association.

John Cheung
Director, Infrastructure Engineering

John joined Carrott in 1998 and has over 15 years of expertise in planning and deployment of   infrastructure and backbone internetworking.  With oversight for Carrott’s internal fault tolerant UNIX and Windows storage networks, John also brings professional design and technical implementation expertise for private cloud deployments as well as VLAN and switched circuit WAN connectivity required by enterprise clients.   Prior to joining Carrott, John held various software development positions in C, Pascal and C++ programming languages and system engineering services within Novell environments.        

 John received a B.S. in Computer Science from University of Minnesota.
